Born in Rio but living in Europe since 2005, Fe Pinheiro studied cinema in Brazil before having a Phd in visual anthropology at EHESS/College de France in Paris.
His photographer career started with a documentary photo work about prisons and urban conflicts in Brazil. He has always been interested in capturing the emotions behind the images of the characters he shoots, that is why one of his main talents is portrait, developed in collaboration with several prestigious publications.
In 2008 he moved to London and got interested in fashion photography. Since then he developed many important fashion works and got back to Paris, having collaborated several times to publications and brands such as: Vogue, CR fashion book, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, GQ, Bof, Repubblica, NYT, Liberation, Flaunt, L’Officiel, Mme figaro, Air France Madame, Marie Claire, Fendi, Uniqlo, Gap and Armani among others.
