A MULTIFACETED ARTIST BUT ABOVE ALL A DREAMER HE LIVES IN A WORLD WERE THE CITIES SPEAK
Felipe is a multi-artist born in Sao Paulo, the megalopolis that feed him with all of its diversity. The inspiration for his work comes from the simplest gestures to the landscapes shaped by the windows of his penthouse in the heart of the city. His work moves from fashion editorials to scenography, art photography, video, design and urban intervention. There is a poetic view of life that permeates his work. His photography has been exposed in several Brazilian galleries, museums and art festivals such as Galeria Zipper, Aktuel, Plastik, SP Arte, Brazilian Modern in Brussels and the Bienal de Fotografia de Santo Domingo just to name a few. As an artist he has always looked for different supports to say out loud the ideas and voices that were blooming inside his hyperactive mind. Scenography was a way to materialize dreams, collaborating with different brands he created imagined worlds with a strong point of view for Nike, Chivas Spirit, Schweppes, SP Fashion Week, Skol Lollapalooza. Some bars and restaurants also have his poetic touch like the Squat bar in Sao Paulo or the renovation of the mythical birth place of bossa nova in Rio, Beco das Garrafas. Another creative exploration is the design partnerships developed with fashion and home design brands such as Tok&Stok, West Wing, Storia Lab and Reserva. The urban space that feed him throughout his life has become an obsession. He is one of the directors of Associação Parque Minhocão, a non-profit organization created to discuss news ways of urbanism. Nature and the city are seen not as opposed elements but the only possible way of living. More than an artist, Felipe is a Brazilian dreamer.
