DUDU BERTHOLINI

A BRAZILIAN ENTITY WITH MULTITALENTED SKILLS

Dudu is one of Brazil’s most colourful and exuberant creatives. He is a libertarian who is always exploring new meanings and shapes in his artworks and images. On top of the subversive, sexy and tropicalist touch, his work is interested in inserting the vibrant Brazilian identity into the global landscape as a way to develop something contemporary. He was responsible for the curatorship of some exhibitions such as “Chita na moda” and “Renda-se”, both at A Casa Museum. As a performer he developed cafturas, the creatures in caftans, a series of happenings with artists striking poses with the caftans he creates.

Dudu is multitalented and above all an image composer, having worked as a stylist and given creative direction to several campaigns for brands such as Melissa, Christopher Alexander, Morena Rosa and Arezzo on top of editorials for magazines like L’Oficciel Brasil, I-D, Elle and U Mag, among others.

With Neon, the fashion brand created with Rita Comparato that mixes the attitude of the city with the spirit of the beach, he could show how far his creative impulse can go by building carefully thought-out visuals, designs and artistic collaborations.

Dudu has become a reference for lifestyle in the Brazilian media and he is also responsible for the fashion and creative consulting of several TV channels’ series and programs.
